Can you keep a secret? Considered one of the best kept secrets of New York City, the Cloisters in Washington Heights is an ILR destination.

Who will unravel the marvels of this stunning architectural wonder which incorporates five monasteries and cloisters from Europe? None other than ILR's own Professor Joel Feimer who will be our own docent and will share his wondrous knowledge of the Cloisters with us.He will take us back to Medieval Europe with no jet lag!

The Cloisters is a museum that specializes in European architecture, sculptures, and decorative arts, for example, the tapestries (the ones with the mystery story behind them), the stained glass windows, the only complete deck of 15th Century playing cards. So, come along on this very special trip, including a wonderful lunch, and you are guaranteed an exciting day! All inclusive cost of $85. Day of trip instructions will be sent before the trip.
